Product overview
An elevator seismic monitor is a device used in conjunction with an elevator control system to enable an elevator to effectively enter controlled operation before or during an earthquake. Before the arrival of the earthquake, the elevator seismic monitor detects the seismic wave in advance, and outputs the alarm contact to control the elevator control system to make the elevator open the door at the near floor level, release the passengers in the elevator, save the life safety of the passengers, and ensure that the elevator equipment is not damaged. The system has the following advantages:
(1) High-precision, low-noise seismic data acquisition;
(2) Fast and accurate judgment of seismic events;
(3) Two-stage trigger signal output. The instrument has three contact outputs, namely, the first alarm contact output, the second alarm contact output and the fault contact output, which are respectively connected to the elevator related system for the elevator system to operate and collect control signals.

The product collects the ground motion acceleration in the three directions of X/Y/Z when the earthquake occurs, and accurately detects the occurrence of the earthquake. When the P wave arrives, the acceleration sensor detects the vibration in the vertical direction in the early stage of the earthquake, I .e. outputs the corresponding electrical signal, which is sent to the microprocessor through the analog-to-digital converter for corresponding processing after filtering and amplification. When the S wave comes, the acceleration sensor detects the vibration in the horizontal direction, and outputs the corresponding electrical signal, which is sent to the microprocessor for corresponding processing through the analog-to-digital converter after filtering and amplification.
The instrument has three relay output, respectively for the first alarm output, two alarm output and fault contact output, respectively, access to the elevator control operation system, for the elevator control system acquisition. The first-level alarm output is the output after the instrument detects the P-wave vibration or lower seismic motion acceleration in the early stage of the earthquake. It is a lower-level output and is used to judge that an earthquake may occur. After the first-level alarm relay operates, if the ground vibration signal of the second-level alarm is not reached within 10s, the product will automatically reset and the contact signal will disappear. The secondary alarm output corresponds to the output of higher ground motion acceleration and cannot be reset automatically. Professional elevator operators are required to check the elevator and perform manual reset after confirming that the elevator is free of any faults.
